My story
A foundation in neurorehabilitation
I qualified as an occupational therapist in 2004 and have specialised in neurological rehabilitation since 2007
Working with people living with complex health conditions, I saw how good sleep and sustainable energy played an important role in recovery, and adapting to life change.
I also saw how sleep disruption and fatigue could affect mood, motivation and everyday functioning.
Understanding sleep and energy
Whatever challenges life brings, I’ve learnt that sleep and energy form the foundation for how we feel, function and connect with others.
When sleep is poor and energy is depleted, every part of life can feel harder, affecting wellbeing, relationships and our ability to manage the demands of work and everyday life.
Expanding my practice
Over the past 10 years, this growing interest led me to deepen my knowledge of sleep science and integrate it into my practice. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for insomnia, alongside OT-specific fatigue management and psychotherapeutic coaching approaches.
Why I Created The Restore Method
I've worked with many people who feel exhausted and overwhelmed - struggling with poor sleep, unpredictable energy and routines that no longer support them.
I created The Restore Method to help people step out of survival mode, reset their nervous system and rebuild sustainable energy.
It's a structured, personalised approach that guides you step-by-step from where you are now to lasting change.
